About Sprites

Sprites are pre-rendered images used to optimize animated graphics in video games.

You can create custom sprites by selecting from re-usable SVG parts like hairstyles, outfits, or faces.

For advanced artists, can import your own SVG illustrations to use along the re-usable parts or create your own completely original templates.

What happens next?

After creating your sprite, you'll be able to:

  • Select parts for each category
  • Customize colors for different elements of your sprite
  • Preview your sprite with different animations
  • Export your sprite for use in other applications

How do I use my sprite in a game?

Once your sprite is created, you can create a new game and select your sprite as the main character or object. From there, you can build out your game world, add scenes, and define interactions.

You can also export your sprite in various formats, including PNG spritesheets, raw SVG, a reusable React component, a PixiJS spritesheet, and more.

Is my sprite royalty-free?
